Little Legends creates fully personalized children's storybooks — every character, every illustration, and every word is generated from scratch for your child. It's not a template. Two parents using the same prompt won't get the same book.

Most personalized books (like Wonderbly or Hooray Heroes) use fixed templates — the same story with your child's name swapped in. With Little Legends, the plot, characters, and illustrations are all unique to your story.

Your child is always the star. You can also include siblings, parents, grandparents, pets, friends, and teachers — anyone who matters to your child. Each person or pet needs their own photo.

Yes. You get a full page-by-page preview after generation. You can edit text, request image changes, and run a Quality Check before placing your order.

Most parents finish a book in one sitting. You can be done in as little as 5 minutes if you skip edits, or around 30 minutes if you want to review each page and make changes. Generation itself takes a few minutes once you approve your Character Sheet.

Printed books go through two phases: production, then shipping. Production generally takes 3–7 business days (weekends excluded), but this is an estimate — times can vary due to print facility volumes, US holidays, seasonal demand, or unexpected delays like maintenance or stock issues. A Board Book typically takes around 6 business days to produce; a Staple-bound Softcover takes 3–7 business days. Once your book ships, delivery times vary by format and shipping method. For Staple-bound Softcovers: 5–7 business days (Standard, USPS), 4–6 business days (Priority, USPS), 2–3 business days (Expedited, FedEx or UPS), or 1–2 business days (Express, FedEx or UPS). For Board Books: 2–5 business days (Standard, USPS First Class) or 2–3 business days (Expedited, FedEx 2 Day). Carrier delays can also occur and are outside our control. Digital PDFs are available instantly.

Yes. Photos are used only to generate your book's illustrations. We don't sell, share, or license your images. Once your character illustrations have been generated, your photos are permanently deleted from our systems within 24 hours. See our Privacy Policy at littlelegends.app/privacy for full details.

You can edit images and text before ordering. AI-generated illustrations aren't perfect — in rare cases you may notice things like a character appearing twice on a page, and it's also common for perspective or the orientation of objects to look slightly off. Most of these can be fixed using the page editor, though perspective issues can sometimes be tricky to fully correct. If your printed book arrives damaged or doesn't match your approved preview, contact us via chat and we'll send a replacement at no cost.

If your order hasn't entered production yet, contact us immediately via chat and we'll do our best to help. Once printing has started, changes and cancellations are not possible.
